Are you in posession of a relevant tertiary qualification preferable in Disaster Management?
Do you have DMISA Registration: Technician?
Are you computer literate in MS Office applications?
Do you have 3 - 5 years' relevant experience in the field of Disaster Management?
Are you physically fit and able-bodied?
Are you able to walk/ stand/ bend/ run/ lift objects (e.g. generators, food parcels) which may at times weigh more than 20 kg?
Are you able to deal with mental stress associated with peak periods, sensitive 'disaster' scenes and/ or exposure to social trauma?
Are you in possession of a valid code EB drivers license?
Are you prepared to be on standby for work (365 days p/a) and work overtime during specific unplanned emergencies/ disasters?
Are you a permanent resident of the Republic of South Africa?
Do you have a clear criminal record?
Do you have a pending diciplinary record at your current and/or previous employer?
